Bangladesh Approvals Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), an independent Commission established under the Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001(Act no. 18 2001) published by the Parliament in the Bangladesh Gazette, extraordinary issue of April 16, 2001, issues approvals for Wireless & Telecommunication products.
Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI), operates as a body corporate incorporated under the âThe Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution Ordinance, No. XXXVII of 1985â. BSTI prepares Standards for all articles, products, methods and services.
Drawing power from Special Regulatory order named BSTI Regulation 1989, BSTI regulates Compulsory Certification marking for any product after approval of the Government. The BSTI marks cannot be used without approval in advance form BSTI.
